Cheesy Pull-Apart Pepperoni Pizza Bread

  • Author: Harper
  • Total Time: 20 minutes
  • Yield: 8 servings 1x

Description

A quick and easy weeknight dinner or snack made with refrigerated biscuit dough, marinara sauce, mozzarella cheese, and pepperoni. This crowd-pleasing pizza bread is ready in just 20 minutes and perfect for dipping.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 can (12-16 oz / 340-450g) refrigerated buttermilk biscuit dough
  • 2 tablespoons (30g) unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 cup (240g) marinara sauce
  • 2 cups (200g) shredded low-moisture mozzarella cheese
  • 1 small package (3040 slices) pepperoni slices
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano
  • ½ teaspoon garlic powder
  • ½ teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional)
  • 2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped
  • 1 cup (240g) extra marinara sauce for dipping

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Grease a 9×13-inch baking dish with butter or cooking spray.
  2. Separate biscuit dough into individual rounds. If biscuits are large, cut them in half or quarters to fit snugly in the pan.
  3. Press the biscuit pieces into the bottom and up the sides of the baking dish to create a crust-like base.
  4. Spoon marinara sauce over the biscuit base, spreading it evenly but leaving a small border around the edges.
  5. Sprinkle half of the shredded mozzarella cheese over the sauce.
  6. Layer pepperoni slices over the cheese. Sprinkle with dried oregano, garlic powder, and red pepper flakes.
  7. Spread the remaining mozzarella cheese over the top to cover the pepperoni.
  8. Bake for 15-18 minutes until the cheese is bubbly and golden brown, and the biscuit edges are crispy.
  9. Remove from oven and immediately brush the top with melted butter.
  10. Let cool for 5 minutes before pulling apart. Sprinkle with fresh parsley and serve warm with extra marinara for dipping.

Notes

Use low-moisture mozzarella to prevent sogginess. If your oven runs hot, cover with foil for the first 10 minutes. Let the bread rest for 5 minutes before serving to allow the cheese to set. Can be assembled ahead and refrigerated overnight before baking.
