- 6–8 bagels (mini or standard sliced in half)
- 1 cup marinara sauce (divided)
- 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1 small package pepperoni (or other deli meats)
- 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
- Red pepper flakes (optional)
- 1 cup extra marinara sauce (for dipping)
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- 2 tablespoons grated Parmesan cheese
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Line baking sheets with parchment paper.
- Slice bagels in half horizontally and place cut-side up on the baking sheets.
- Spread a thin layer of marinara sauce on each bagel half, leaving a small border.
- Sprinkle shredded mozzarella cheese over the sauce, then add pepperoni and other toppings.
- Sprinkle with Italian seasoning and red pepper flakes if desired.
- Bake for 8-10 minutes until cheese is bubbly and bagel edges are crispy.
- While bagels bake, heat extra marinara sauce in a saucepan or microwave.
- Stir garlic powder into the warm dipping sauce and sprinkle with Parmesan cheese.
- Let bagels cool for 1-2 minutes before serving with the warm dip.

Shred your own cheese to avoid anti-caking agents that prevent melting. Use a thin layer of sauce to prevent soggy bagels. For extra browning, broil for the last 1-2 minutes. Unbaked bagels can be frozen and baked from frozen, adding 2-3 minutes to cook time.
